Credits & Certifications

If you are looking for a certificate or letter for proof of continuing education credits, all you need to do is ask, and we can provide one. If you would like to complete a US Sailing Small Boat Certification there will be a small additional charge.

What To Bring

• Life Jacket/PFD - mandatory to wear. We will provide you one if you don't have your own.
• Dress accordingly - you will be getting wet so you might want to bring a change of clothes and a towel. No flip flops! Sneakers work best in launching the boats and sailing. Don't stub your toe!
• Sunscreen - the Virginia sun is strong in the summertime!
• Sunglasses - have a tie for them since if they fall off into the river, you'll never see them again!
• Sailing gloves - protect your hands from rope burn
• Water Bottle - keep yourself hydrated
• Food / Snacks - Bring your own lunch.

If a class must be cancelled due to inclement weather, every effort will be made to notify you promptly and reschedule the class.

Refunds are handled on a case by case basis.
